Rm 12 Game show’s!

Rm 12 have been working hard on developing their oral language. Part of their unit was to develop a game show as a group and present this to the class. They had a lot of fun doing this and it was great to see the oral language confidence coming out! Well done Rm 12.

A huge well done to Bill Clarkson for his award from the Taranaki Regional Council for ‘Environmental action in education’. As you know, Bill has a great link with our school as well as Moturoa and Frankley schools.

Here is the video that they have put together about what Bill does for our schools:

Rm 10’s ‘Cardboard Arcade’

Rm 10 have been doing some collaborating around technology. It is great to see the kids developing, designing, re-designing and summarising their designs! All the classes could book in to play the kids arcades and were given 7 tokens. The group with the most tokens at the end of today wins the ‘Arcade trophy’.

The genesis of this idea comes from ‘Caine’s arcade’ on you tube, have a look here:

Here are some shots from in Rm 10 today:

This morning the Class Reps ran the ‘Car free day’ which means for every kid that walked, ran, biked or scootered to school got a pancake for breakfast!!

Well done to Harrison who was the Pukeko for the morning – he certainly earned his pancake!
