We had a great night on Wednesday night with the seniors having their annual ‘social dance’.It was awesome to see so many parents and caregivers joining in and be a part of the night! Well done to the kids for their maturity and ‘Vogeltowner’ attitude!

Rm 10 have been doing some writing to ‘Persuade others to purchase an item that we are selling’.
The kids had to:
-Use personal pronouns to include your audience.
-Use statistics to enhance your product value.
The winning persuasive piece was from Lochie. His piece of writing, to persuade you to buy a rubber band, is now on trademe.

Good luck with the sale Rm 10!
Today we were lucky enough to have the 10 of the Taranaki Rugby Bulls team to visit and cook us lunch!! Of course only 3 of the boys could fit on the BBQ so the other boys spent their time signing lots of autographs, giving out prizes and playing some rugger with our kids! A huge thank to the TRFU for your help with this! And of course Rm 8 who won the chant to make this happen!!

We have an amazing Home and School who did some amazing fundraisers for the school. Recently we decided to go a little ‘upmarket’ and purchase some teardrop flags for our whanau groups and get a new marquee in the new school colours. Thanks Home and School for the funds for these purchases – they will be at VS for years to come!!
